A collection of colorful beads in small bowls and a tray. The green beads are in a glass bowl, the blue beads are in a white container, and the pink beads are on a yellow tray with a decorative edge.

Sun-kissed knots was inspired by beads. While searching for the perfect beads for this collection, I stumbled across a company called The Bead Chest. I was searching for unique beads, not found at your local craft store. These blue and clear statement beads had the perfect name for a beach collection, Blue Wave Marine. They are recycled glass beads made by the Krobo People in Ghana, Africa. The glass is crushed into a powder and baked with a cassava leaf stem to create the hole.

When the beads were delivered, I was in owe of their vibrant color. They glistened from all different angles when the sunlight hit them, which inspired the fringe.

Not only did I find unique, stunning embellishments, that inspired me greatly, but I found a purpose and vision for my brand. Collections that have a history and tell a story of artists from all over the world.
